Crewe No1 Soul Club
Crewe No 1 Soul Club started back in December 2000, so this December 2011 will be our 11th Anniversary and we would like to thank all our soulies and those who have traveled from all over the Country for your support, because without you this would not be possible.
In December 2000 Tyrone, Clive, Wilkie & Johnny Briggs started Crewe's own soul club at the North Ward in Crewe after the first choice venue at the Crosville Club was not available on a regular night to accommodate there needs due to old time dancing being 1st priority at that time.
So Crewe North Ward is where it all started and after 8 years with attendance's averaging over 180, the North Ward finally closed it's doors in 2008 due to the builders once again wanting to flatten the place to build houses, but to this day the club still stands looking in a sorry state and we believe permission to knock it down has been refused.
Between the North Ward closing and moving to the new home of Crewe No1 Soul Club at the Crosville, Tyrone found a couple of venues to keep the soul nights active in Crewe one was at the Alexandra Club & another at the M Club.

This website is set up for you to keep updated of our events and others around the Country, we will also place photos, information of soul related topics, other issues and you can listen to your soul music as you read.
